QUOTES

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Whenever I watch TV and see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can't help but cry. I mean I'd love to be skinny like that, but not with all those flies and death and stuff.

Mariah Carey, CPB (crazy psycho bitch)

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

Work twice as hard and expect half as much.

Dr. Dan's Dad, both DVMs

Don't be screwin' around, you don't have the genetic potential.

What Dr. Dan's Dad said to Dr. Dan when he went to college.

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

A virus can be useful to a species by thinning it out.

Dr. Karl Johnson, MD

Be a virus and travel the World! Free of ticket!

Dr. Sanjay Kapil, DVM

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!

I'm a McGriddle away from this being the best morning of my life.

Artie Lang, OCCG (overweight comedian, compulsive gambler)

Our scars have the power to remind us that the past was real.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter, CFB

No amount of genius can overcome a preoccupation with detail.

Marion Levy Jr, PhD

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Well, I want to try everything in life.

When I gotta poop, I gotta poop.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

It gets right ugly.

Dr. Patricia A. Payne, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

I'm just here to be a person.

Rob Reed, Brainiac

If you eat your dog, make sure it is well cooked.

Peter Schantz, DVM Division of Parasitic Diseases CDC

Inch by inch life's a cinch, yard by yard life gets hard.

Dr. Steve Swaim, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

this looks like it could take awhile but i'll keep going anyway.

friday january 3, 2003

i was in charge at disney this day. whatever i said went, no complaints. and i have to say there weren't many if any at all cause we had a good time. we had breakfast at the kona cafe at the polynesian and i had the famous tonga toast and even some pineapple juice. after we walked around a little and then headed to animal kingdom. we did most of the cool stuff. they have this new twirly rollie coaster that we really liked and went on a few times. we also did the old favorites like 'a bug's life', 'dinosaur', 'kilamanjaro safari', etc. then when that closed we headed over to the magic kingdom cause that was open later. we ate at tony's town square which was okay but we just got spaghetti and meatballs and it was close to $20 each for not that much. plus we had to wait kinda long for a table. then we did cool stuff at tomorrowland. that was our day basically.

saturday january 4, 2003

today i think we got a late start and didn't end up eating breakfast. instead we went to epcot and ate lunch in the world showcase at mexico. we had a pretty good meal and then on to the rest of the park for 'test track', sodas from around the world (very cool), 'honey i shrunk the audience', etc. we wanted to eat dinner at france but the menu was too crazy and expensive so we went to the boardwalk and ate at the espn club. there was a playoff game going but i think it was green bay and favre could only disappoint. i got the footlong hotdog and i think i impressed our waiter when he asked if i wanted onions, chili or cheese and i said 'sure, all of it.' ha!ha! if i was a huge fat pig i don't think it would have gone so well. after that we made it back and that might have been the night rob reed and i stayed up late eating tons of candy. yummy!!

sunday january 5, 2003

today we went to mgm. we ate at a character breakfast there at hollywood & vine so we got to hang out w/ some disney characters. then on to the best rides: aerosmith's rockie rollie coaster and tower of terror (which jenn refuses to ever go on again after she went once w/ rob reed a couple years ago). we do the rollie coaster lots cause it's so unique. also muppet 4d, who wants to be a millionaire, etc. after that was a little fiasco. we were going to go to don shula's steakhouse at the dolphin or maybe the swan i forget. so we did get there but then that was really expensive but we put our names on the list anyway and then sat around having a drink and waiting but it was too much time to think about the $200 meal we would be consuming and decided it wasn't worth it. so we left and went back to the boardwalk and ate at big river grille which was a nice save.

monday january 6, 2003

this was the last day and the worst day. we had to pack everything up and all that so it took some time to get ready. we skipped breakfast and headed back to the magic kingdom. we did as many of the 'can't miss em' things as we had time and then quick headed to the animal kingdom to do some more stuff there. on the way over though rob reed and i got in a fight. he ended up apologizing but i was still upset so then at the animal kingdom i wasn't being all cheery and then this whole scene broke out w/ rob saying let's just leave and jenn getting mad and crying saying she'd never go on a vacation w/ rob and i again. so we left taking the bus back to the hotel and got right into the car to leave. long bad story short i ended up taking a flight back to boston and rob and jenn drove the 24+ hours back in the car. everything's fine now but i spent $300 on a plane ticket that i don't really have but also i didn't have to sit in the car either.

tuesday january 7, 2003

i just spent this day doing laundry and hanging out w/ billy. rob and jenn got back later that night. everything got back to normal pretty quick.
